Wedding Photographers

Congratulations to Darren and Samantha on their wedding day and thank you, out of all the wedding photographers in sussex, for asking me to be your photographer.

The ceremony was held at St Mary De Haura in Shoreham on Sea and the reception at Coombe Farm Sussex.

A lovely day with great people from start to finish.

Tech bit: This was the first wedding where the Canon 1D4 was used alongside the Canon 1DS3 , it performed admirably and I’m considering dropping the ds3 for 2 x Mk4′s

St Mary De Haura – Shoreham on Sea

The far end of the church

St Mary De Haura

A recent wedding brought me to this church, the St Mary De Haura in Shoreham on Sea.

This Romanesque church, almost 1000 years old is not only ornate but also very imposing. This is in part down to the amazingly detailed ceiling, windows and well maintained structure.

I liked this church so much I actually went back to take more shots without the pressure of a wedding party.

For the wedding photographers looking there is a decent amount of light let in from the windows even on a cloudy day and the spotlights are all Hologens.

Also, the wooden bench just outside the church isn’t fixed to the floor, so, if you need some extra height for those formals…..you didn’t hear it from me ok?
